Vital Sentinel – Privacy Policy

    We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal health data.

    All heart-rate, temperature, and stress-estimate data stays exclusively on your device in Apple Health.

This Privacy Policy explains how ByteAffinity LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Company”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Vital Sentinel mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Vital Sentinel never collects, transmits, or stores any of the following:

Your heart-rate data
Your wrist-temperature data
Any stress estimates or wellness scores generated by the App
Any other Apple HealthKit or Health data
Your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers
Location data
Usage data or analytics about how you interact with the App

All readings and calculations are performed entirely on your iPhone or Apple Watch and are stored only in the Apple Health app on your device.

2. The Only Data That Ever Leaves Your Device

The App uses Apple’s standard crash-reporting system (Apple Crash Logs). If the App crashes, Apple may automatically send us a crash report that can include:

Technical details about the crash (stack trace, device model, iOS version)
No health data whatsoever
No personal identifiers

These reports help us fix bugs and improve stability. You can disable crash reporting at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share iPhone Analytics (turn off).

3. Apple HealthKit Data

Vital Sentinel requests read-only access to heart-rate and wrist-temperature data from Apple HealthKit solely to perform on-device stress estimation. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is never uploaded to any server
Is never shared with any third party
Is processed only in temporary memory and immediately discarded after calculation

4. No Third-Party Analytics or Advertising

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Facebook, or any other third-party analytics or advertising services. No advertising IDs are collected.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. Because we collect no personal information, we comply with COPPA by default.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Because we never receive your data in the first place, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. All data remains under your sole control within the Apple Health app on your device.

7. Security

Since no personal data is transmitted to us, there is no remote server for you to worry about. Your data is protected by Apple’s industry-leading on-device encryption and HealthKit privacy safeguards.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
